Google (Gmail) meets strict AVG requirements

Google has disclosed how the company is preparing to meet the stringent requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For example, Google has updated its user consent policy in the European Union, and changes have been made to Google's products and contract terms.
Are you aware of GDPR in your company? If not, start here. The new European privacy law applies to all organizations that process personal data, including SMEs and freelancers who process data such as addresses and the like of customers and employees, security card numbers and copies of identification documents.

Do you use Gmail? Then Google has good news for you! Google's policy on user consent in the European Union is being updated according to the legal requirements of the GDPR. The policy sets out your responsibilities for disclosing to and obtaining consent from end users of your sites and apps in the European Economic Area (EEA). The policy is incorporated into contracts for most Google advertising and measurement products worldwide.
